Fourth, the menu for brunch was pretty wide ranging and very tasty. Don't forget the powder sugar covered beignets with chocolate sauce to start!
The patio is awesome- warm and gets fall sun. The service was excellent. Food came out a bit cold, collared greens horrible. People were fabulous but food didn't live up to the hype. The food was wonderful!!! Our waiter was attentive and made great recommendations. We can't wait to go back! Smack Shack is the only place we can go in the Twin Cities to replicate that experience. We were on the deck for lunch in the sun with heaters… it was lovely.
Highly recommended. The food and drinks are on the pricey side, but the meal was wonderful and the service was great! Went for Restaurant Week and just a gorgeous day to eat outside. The dinner special was a great value. We can always count on the quality seafood dining from the Smack Shack. Service was great all around! We had a show to get to and our server made sure we got our meals and tab in time to make our show. Came for restaurant week and was not disappointed. It was all delicious.
Our server was awesome too! I suggest the lobster roll. The restaurant week deal was amazing. Great waiter and we appreciated that he wore a mask, unlike other employees and manager we saw.
Always a great meal! The lobster rolls are so good. They close the kitchen 10 minutes after hour reservation. The food was OK but kinda feel eating left overs. The Jumbo Shrimp Bruschetta was amazing! I would go back for that alone! Lobster rolls were loaded with lobster and very tasty. Very very good food and service! The food was delicious, our server was very friendly, helpful and the right balance of attentiveness. We enjoyed our dinner immensely.
We eat at Smack Shack about every 2 months. It is the best experience in the North Loop. Consistently great food and the best service. The servers take time to answer questions are extremely knowledgeable and fun to chat with. Everything was great! Food was pretty good but too expensive and musics was way too loud. My wife hadn't been here and years but she found the quality just as good as she remembered.
Next time we are in Minneapolis, we will be back. Everything was fantastic but the mussels were a let down. The mussel itself was scarce or non-existent.
Everything else was marvelous! Waitress was attentive and knowledgeable. Really great guacamole. Good food, fresh fish, great atmosphere, all around good time. Fabulous waiter! Delicious food as always. Grateful for the oh-so comfy outdoor eating option! Kudos to you for keeping us safe! The food was delicious!! Service was wonderful and the atmosphere is fun and lively with beautiful views. It is a little pricy. We were celebrating our 28 weeks of being pregnant with our miracle baby.
Our server was great and food was awesome as always! My favorite Restaurant! Fabulous fresh seafood!! Great place for lunch, dinner and brunch!! Must haves: Lobster Mac and cheese; Connecticut roll; oysters; fabulous fried chicken and waffles! Such a fun restaurant and atmosphere.
