These faculty are critical to our efforts as a college and provide an additional level of comfortability to new international students. Graduates from these programs have a percent placement rate within industry jobs upon graduation. WTAMU also offers a host of robust scholarship opportunities for qualified students. Throughout the year, WTAMU supports and sponsors research at the undergraduate and graduate levels through programs administered through the Office of Sponsored Research Services located on campus in the Killgore Research Center within the Graduate School.
The University has been conducting innovative research in many different disciplines and venues. Specific examples include a novel material that mimics human tissue, battery design, and antimicrobial materials. On the other side, WTAMU has an active commitment to fostering entrepreneurship and technology commercialization. The University established the WT Enterprise Center 20 years ago with the explicit purpose of taking educating and equipping entrepreneurs from its area with the skills and resources to bring ideas to market.

Personable staff. Nice bistro. The ice machines didn't work. I went to the breakfast room early to get coffee and study, but the staff wouldn't turn the lights on so I could see how to use the coffee machine. They did, however, come in and turn on a light in a nearby closet. Don't stay here. I felt fortunate to have a 1st floor handicap room. The room was large but had poor lighting, and there was no counter space in the bathroom. The beds were bouncy and too close to the walls.
The shower was a joke, and the hand-held showerhead leaked all over. The toilet seat was loose. Poor selection at breakfast, and the motel staff didn't do anything about other guests who were cursing loudly. No fruit at breakfast. Generally safe-looking area; there was a park around the corner and it was close to I The room was clean enough.
The TV remote control didn't work; we called the motel clerk and were told nothing could be done until the shift change. I called two more times, but no one ever answered the phone.
At least the wireless Internet worked. The hair dryer cord and the electrical outlet were dirty. The room door was extremely difficult to shut and lock. Nice variety at breakfast. The hotel clerks were so friendly; they made us feel welcomed. The eggs and coffee at breakfast were cold; when I complained, the staff just said, "Sorry, it's the best we can do. Pleasant check-in. Good choices at the continental breakfast. We felt safe here.
