Can i use ableton on two computers

I have it on my main desktop and on my laptop that I use during gigs. Most of the times I have both running when preparing my live sets. As user license agreement, you should use only one copy at the time while performing, I suppose Post by hacktheplanet » Tue Dec 13, pm For a performance, run an unauthorized version "trial mode" or whatever on the second machine Just don't make any changes to the set you would want to save.

I used to do it that way a long time ago in the days when my set required two computers. Post by johnnydeep » Wed Dec 14, am thanks for the replies much appreciated. You can, however, authorize Live more than once under the legal and technical conditions described later see 3.

The first time you run Live, you will be prompted to complete the authorization process. The software will walk you through the steps. If the computer that you wish to authorize is connected to the internet, you can authorize immediately by pressing the appropriate button in the dialog box. If you do not yet own Live or its add-on products, you can still try them out, but saving and exporting will be disabled. So long as you get a good, active HDMI switch which tend to be more expensive there should not be any noticeable lag.

Destiny 2. How many computers can you authorize Ableton on? Is Ableton a one time purchase? Can I use Ableton on two computers? I've now got a new macbook pro and can finally use it properly with all the plug ins and want to use it. I've already stated all this earlier. I've had so many silly software problems lately, like now Sylenth won't run inside Reason on this macbook pro but runs fine inside Ableton Just have a little patience.

Hardware requires a lot more of that, quite honestly. Let people have their weekend like you most likely did. They will get back to you. I understand why you want ableton, i am simply not sure why you are being so impatient about it when you had it for a year and didnt use it. Whats another 12 hours? Well I wanted it on the weekend just gone as that was my time off, so that's wasted now and I'm back at work, and others have said they have multiple authorisations, read back what people have said, I've read many times that people have multiple authorisations, I have one authorisation that works and it's on a laptop that is going to a kid for high school.

I first sent my request on Friday and it's now Tuesday morning in Australia, I'm being patient I have no choice. I much prefer how other software is when you buy the product you can use it on any computer you have at anytime as long as you let the software log into your account, this has been awesome for using Reason. They got in touch and sent me another authorisation, it worked and so I'm stoked I can now use Ableton on a proper laptop.
